YOU CAN HAVE FAITH FOR OTHERS
LUKE 5:17-20
….on a certain day, as he was teaching, the power of the Lord was present to heal them. And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before Him. And when they could not find by what they might bring him in because of the multitudes, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. And when He saw their faith, He said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
Your faith in Christ is so powerful that just as you can exercise it for yourself , you can also exercise it for others, and those you are believing God for, will experience the miraculous power of God in their lives. In our text above , Jesus did not heal the sick man because of his faith. The Bible declares that Jesus saw the faith of his friends and then Jesus healed him.

Like we studied yesterday, the Syrophenician woman exercised faith in Christ for her daughter and the centurion exercised his faith in Christ for one of his servants; someone that was not even related to him. In Hebrews 11:35 (GNB) , the Bible says, “Through faith women received their dead relatives raised back to life….” By your faith in Christ, you too are going to experience the life and power of God manifesting in the lives of others.
God wants you to pray for others. Praying for others is one of the ways that we release the love of God in our hearts unto others. Pray for others and believe God for their salvation, miracles and His divine intervention in their lives. God wants us to pray for all men, all leaders, (1 Timothy 2: 1-4 ) and for all believers ( Ephesians 6: 18). Pray for others and trust God to show Himself strong in their lives and turn their lives and situation around. You can exercise faith for your children , your spouse, friends and even for strangers and God will honour your faith. Like the four friends in our text above, God is looking for people who will not give up on others, but rather go all out to express radical faith to see the lives of others experience His love and miraculous power. Your testimony this year will be more of the things God did in the lives of others through you.
Prayer Focus:
Pray and release your faith for the salvation, miraculous power and intervention of God in the lives of others right now.
