YOU HAVE AUTHORITY TO DRIVE AWAY THE ENEMY

“So Abram presented all these to Him and killed them. Then he cut each animal down the middle and laid the halves side by side; he did not however, cut the birds in the half. Some vultures swooped down to eat the carcasses, but Abram chased them away.”

Genesis 15:10-11 (NLT)

Beloved, there is a devil let loose who does not want you to partake of the grape. The only way to stop you is to cause you to start retreating when you should intensify your zeal. Looking through the scriptures, I discovered that is the way he operates. For instance, Abraham could   have lost his enthusiasm. In Genesis 15, When God spoke to him, Abraham wanted to know how God was going to fulfill His promise to him. God decided to cut a covenant with him. Not because of God, but for Abraham’s sake.

So Abraham made a sacrifice according to God’s instruction and the fowls came to mess with the sacrifice. But because he was awake and intense, Abraham drove them away. The fowls will always come to mess with your blessing. In case you are wondering why they would come down, that is their job.

The leasehold of the devil on earth has not stopped. But you can stop his operations from your life because of the authority you have in Christ. However, that depends on how intense you are. When your intensity is no more there, you become a cheap victim in the hands of the devil. May that never be your story. Many people are allowing the birds to eat their lunch. You allow them to eat what God has made available to you, yet every day, you are fasting and praying. Learn from Abraham!  He drove away the birds that wanted to mess with his blessing. You have authority in Christ to do that. Never allow the enemy to mess with your blessings.
I declare that the enemy will not touch that which belongs to you. Your blessing will be too hot for the enemy to tamper with.
