YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO SUCCEED
“And God blessed them and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion…” Genesis 1:28 (KJV)
You cannot give birth to a child when you are not a woman. Or have you ever seen a man giving birth to a child? The fact remains that you have to have the nature of a woman to give birth to a child. The word “blessed” in the above passage is empowerment. You have been endowed with the nature which makes it possible for you to be fruitful. You have been endowed with what it takes to succeed.
God blessed them and said to be fruitful. So, fruitfulness is not supposed to be a struggle. It is a mentality that you should put on. You rest in the knowledge that you have the ability to be fruitful. You have the ability to multiply. You have the ability to replenish the earth. You have the ability to walk in dominion. They are all part of your packaging. In order words, it must work. Even if it is not working for others, you believe and declare that it will work for you. That is rest!

Do you know where God put Adam? He put him in the garden. The garden is not a bush. It is an organized bush. God put him inside a place already organized. He put him there to dress it. So you can be working and still be resting. Why? Because you already know how the story will turn out. That is the difference between somebody that is toiling and somebody who is resting.
Resting doesn’t mean you resign from your job and sleep. It doesn’t mean that you should do nothing and get lazy. It simply means that amid the efforts you are making, don’t ever think of failure. Think success! Just know it will work. You are already in Christ, therefore, that job will work. Your marriage will work. Your womb will have babies. You will buy that car and build that house. You will not be stranded in school. No power will stop your progress.
