YOU SHALL BE STRONG

Ephesians 6:10-12, Proverbs 24:10

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

There are so many reasons why God wants you strong. One is that it takes being strong for you to stand. God wants you to stand perfect and complete in all His will for your life, (Col.4:12). It takes being strong to stand against the tricks and lies of the devil. It takes being strong to stand in the face of challenges and not faint.

It takes being strong to keep walking in love and doing God’s will when it is difficult for the flesh. Sometimes, God opens doors for us but there are many adversaries before us, (1Cor.16:9). It takes strength not to be terrified by your adversaries and this guarantees your victory, (Phil.1:28). Like David, you will not be intimidated by any Goliath situation you may face. Remember that God will not allow you face a temptation you cannot overcome, (1Cor.10:13) and God will deliver you from every affliction you face, (Psa.34:19). It takes strength to keep walking through the valley of the shadow of death, because you know God is with you. Nothing shall move you.

You will finish this year strong and you are going to be strong all through the coming year. As this year ends, you will stand perfect and complete in all the will of God for your life. You will keep focusing on Christ and you will keep moving forward and experiencing increase.

Prayer Focus:
Ask God for His strength to fill your life. Declare that you end this year strong and enter the New Year with God’s strength.
