You Shall Experience Divine Turnarounds
Isaiah 55:12-13 (NLT), Isaiah 43:18-19 (CEV)
You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the Lord’s name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.” *Forget what happened long ago! Don’t think about the past. I am creating something new. There it is! Do you see it? I have put roads in deserts, streams in thirsty lands.
It does not cost God anything to turn any negative situation around. With God, nothing is impossible. The things that are impossible with men are possible with God (Luke 18:27). Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning (Psa.30:5). God is doing a new thing in your life and as you keep your mind focused on Him, it shall spring forth. I see God giving you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for every heaviness in your heart. You shall be called a tree of righteousness and a planting of the Lord. The name of the Lord will be glorified in your life (Isa.61:3). God is giving you a new song. What the devil meant for evil, God is turning it around for your good and it will lead to the saving of many lives as you are better positioned to fulfil purpose (Gen.50:20).
Our first text above gives us some examples of how God will turn things around for you. It says thorns in your life will be replaced with cypress trees. Cypress trees are very beautiful trees. Apart from their lovely leaves that are often used for decorative purposes, the wood from this tree is also very durable. It is used for furniture and building purposes because it doesn’t crack easily. There are places where you may have been expecting negative results for one reason or the other that instead, you are going to experience unbelievable positive results. Jesus took those thorns on His head as He suffered and died for you and now you have a right to experience God’s glory and blessings in that situation. Jesus has brought you into a perpetual experience of God’s favour and saving power. God has heard you and God has helped you because, “…now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation.” (2Cor.6:2b.)
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for your saving power and favour that I experience because of Christ. I receive divine turnaround in my life right now.
