YOU SHALL FINISH WELL

JOHN 17:4(GNB, CEV), HEBREWS 12:2, JEREMIAH 29:11

I have shown your glory on earth; I have finished the work you gave me to do. I have brought glory to you here on earth by doing everything you gave me to do. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

God is glorified when we finish what He asks us to do and when we bear much fruit, (John 15:8). The grace to start and finish everything God has planned for you is upon you this year. That same grace that was upon Jesus that made Him bring glory to God by finishing all that God asked Him to do, is upon you this year.

You will not be discouraged or distracted. You will walk circumspectly and you will redeem the time (Ephesians 5:15 -16). By the help of God’s Spirit, you will keep your eyes on Christ and the joy that is set before you and you will endure every trial, challenge or persecution that will come your way. You will always have joy. You will get to your expected end and your expectation shall not be cut off, (Proverbs 23 :18).

This year, you shall do great exploits. As you remain conscious of God’s ability in you, you will do much more than you plan to do. For God is at work in you, making you willing and able to do his good will (Philippians 2:13) and He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or imagine according to His power at work in us , (Ephesians 3:20). As God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power and He went about doing good (Acts 10:38), God has also anointed you with his Holy Ghost and power. You will go about doing good and you will exceed your targets. you will have abundant fruits and results. The Bible says “And there are also many other things which Jesus did , the witch, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books: that should be written. Amen” (John 21:5).

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for by the wisdom and strength of Your Spirit, I will be fruitful and productive this year and I will finish well.
