YOU SHALL NEVER BE STRANDED

Isaiah 30:20-21 (GNB) John 10:14, 27-28 (NIV)

The Lord will make you go through hard times, but he himself will be there to teach you, and you will not have to search for him anymore. If you wander off the road to the right or the left, you will hear his voice behind you saying, Here is the road. Follow it.” *”I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me. *My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.

Jesus was never stranded in His life on earth and because you have His life, you too will never be stranded. On several occasions, He directed His disciples on how they could partake of the provisions that God had already made for them (Matt. 17:27, Matt. 21:2, Mark 14:13-15). In the same way that Jesus always knew what to do, by the virtue of His life and Spirit in you, you will always know what to do to receive the provisions God has already made for every need or challenge in your life. At two different times during a severe famine in Israel, God directed Elijah to the provisions that He had prepared for him, 1Kings 17:3 &9. As Elijah remained in tune with God, He enjoyed the provision of Heaven in his life. Every need you will ever have has already been abundantly provided for by God. Even our salvation was provided for right from the foundation of the earth (Rev.13:8) and God has promised that along with Christ, He will freely give us all things, Rom.8:32.

Because you are God’s sheep, you have the ability to hear His voice (1John 2:20). So, listen for His voice and follow His leading. Learn how to be still before God. Have a meek and quiet spirit, (1Pet.3:4). Beloved, whenever the devil tries to bring any fear to your mind, remember that God cares about you more than He cares about the birds of the air and the lilies of the field, (Matt.6:25-34). You are a member of His household and as a Good Father, He has made adequate provision for your needs. As you follow His leading, He will guide you into these provisions. Give yourself to God’s word and spend time in prayer unto Him. Continually fellowship and commune with God, your dear Heavenly Father.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you because you are always there to help me know what to do, please lead and guide me into your abundance.
