YOU WERE NOT BORN AS A SPIRITUAL INFANT

GALATIANS 4:1-5(NKJV)

…the heir, as long as he is a child , does not differ at all from a slave, …but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed for the father. Even so, we when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of the time has come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, …..under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

Many believers are not aware that in our text above, Paul was not referring to them but was referring to the Israelites; that is, all those who were under the law.

Just as a child or infant has to be under supervision and cannot be given access to all that may be his right, the Israelites were under the law and could not experience the fullness of God’s glory and power for their lives because of the quality of life they had. An infant does not have access to the wealth of its father just like the slaves in the house do not have access.
But this is not the case with us who have put a faith in Christ. When you become born again, God does not make, you a child or infant like the Israelites were, He makes you His son just as Christ is and you have full access to all of His will, power , glory and blessings just like Christ does. You already have the fullness of Christ. All you need to experience and manifest it is to grow in your consciousness of this!

In Galatians 4:6-7, Paul further stated, “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son , then an heir of God through Christ.” He was telling the Israelites that now with the coming of Christ they are no more children who are like sleeves.

Prayer:
Father, I thank you for making me your son just like Christ. Thank you that I have Christ’s fullness and full access to your glory.
