YOU WILL NOT MISS YOUR LIFTING AND PROMOTION

1Samuel 16:11-12 (CEV)

Do you have any more sons?” “Yes,” Jesse answered. “My youngest son David is out taking care of the sheep.” “Send for him!” Samuel said. “We won’t start the ceremony until he gets here.” Jesse sent for David. He was a healthy, good-looking boy with a sparkle in his eyes. As soon as David came, the LORD told Samuel, “He’s the one! Get up and pour the olive oil on his head.”

Men may forget you or they may not think that you deserve the lifting and promotion that God has in store for you, but God will not forget you and He will ensure that you get that lifting and promotion that He has planned for you.

Despite how good and loyal David was to his father, somehow, his father did not think of calling him when Samuel came to anoint one of his sons as king. Samuel also almost anointed the wrong person, but God did not allow it. The brothers of Joseph also sold him off to slavery because they did not think that anything good would come out of his life.

Beloved, you must never allow the attitude and behavior of men towards you to affect your zeal and commitment in whatever you are engaged in. Your lifting and promotion is in God’s hands and it will not miss your head. Keep being faithful and keep your focus on Christ. David was busy in the field when his anointing for lifting and promotion came. He was not lobbying or even desiring any title or position. I declare unto you that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and minds have not imagined what God has in store for you. God will reveal it to you by His Spirit and He will bring you to it.

Prayer:
I thank you, Dear Father, for the lifting and promotions you have in store for me. Please help me to remain focused and faithful.
