YOU WILL TRIUMPH OVER THE ADVERSARY

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)It is very important that we should understand that we are engaged in a warfare. Everyone has an enemy that he is contending with and until you have an understanding of the war we are engaged in, it will be difficult for you to fully fulfil the purpose of God concerning your life. Somebody says: Well, I don’t want to fight! It is too late! You are already drafted. Once you are born into this world, that puts you on the enemy’s list. This enemy does not want you in any way to fulfil destiny, especially when you become a Christian. His main assignment is to stop you. His assignment is to ensure that even what God has spoken concerning you, that which was spoken will not come to pass. He releases all his arsenal in an attempt to ensure that you don’t become what God has ordained for you.It is not going to get better: the world is not going to get better in terms of evil and the manifestations of evil that we see all around us. Wickedness will keep on increasing! If I was told when I was growing up that the things people are experiencing today and some of the things we read in the newspaper and watch on the news would occur, I would doubt it.Indeed, the end times are here! All kinds of evil and wickedness have become acceptable norms. And it is not going to reduce. So, the question is: How am I going to survive?  How am I going to hold my head above the water? In the midst of the crime and the evil that the enemy has unleashed on society, is God leaving us at the mercy of the world. Certainly not!  The truth is that the Lord is able to keep and preserve you from all the evil of our time. So, fear not. Keep standing on the truth. The truth will always prevail!  It doesn’t matter what the enemy musters against you, always remember that the believer triumphs always in Christ.Further Reading 1 Timothy 4:1-2, 6:1-12Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Song of Solomon 4-5; Evening- Galatians 3
