Your Divine Convictions and Persuasions
Romams 8:28, 31, 37-39
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. *What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? *Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, …, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The things which you are convinced and persuaded of will be tested by challenges and opportunities of life and also by the devil. Your ability to stick to your convictions and persuasions, no matter how contrary situations may look, will be reflection of how deeply rooted those convictions and persuasions are in you. Certain experience can produce convictions and persuasions in us, but as belivers, the main source of our convictions and persuasions is the revelation of God’s word (Christ). Real convictions and persuasions cannot be hidden. They reflect in both your word and attitudes.
What are you truly convinced and persuaded about concerning your life in God? In our text above, Apostle Paul stated four different things that he was persuaded and convinced about and they all flow from the revelation of Christ that had filled his heart. He said to Timothy, “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day” (2Tim.1:12). Do you really know this God whom you have believed? What do you know and believe about Him? They that know their God shall be strong and they shall do exploits.
I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. All my needs are met and all my bills are paid. I am righteous. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. God is my Father. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. In Christ, all the promises of God are my reality right now. I am unstoppable!
Faith Declaration:
I am blessed and highly favoured. I am one with Christ. I have been raised up with Christ and I am seated in Him in Heavenly places.
