YOUR MIND IS A BRIDGE

ROMANS 12:2 (NLT), PROVERBS 4:23 (KJV, GNB) Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. *Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. *Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.

Do you know how powerful your mind is and the great impact it has on your life as a believer in Christ? If you do, you will be a lot more deliberate about what goes on in your mind. Your spirit is the real you and your spirit is perfect. It is full of the life, power, glory, wisdom and blessings of God. In your spirit, you are complete in Christ (Col.2:10) and blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, (Eph.1:3). You have all things that pertain to life and godliness, (2Pet.1:3). However, your experiences in life are not determined by the state of your spirit alone, but by the state of your mind. Your mind is the bridge between the spirit realm and the physical realm. Until your mind clearly sees, understands, agrees, and aligns with the truth and reality of God in your spirit, all those wonderful things there cannot flow into your life’s experiences.

Your mind needs to be programmed with your new realities in Christ. God wants to change the way you think. Your life is transformed as your mind is renewed. God wants you to be spiritually minded, so you can walk in the spirit, experience God’s life and peace, be yielded to God and please Him, (Rom.8:5-8). Renewing your mind is a continuous process. Do it daily. Put on Christ in your mind (Rom.13:14). Let the revelation of Christ dwell in you richly (Col.3:16).

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I yield my mind to you. Help me to continue renew
