Your Peace is Always Sure
John 14:27 (AMPC), John 16:33 (LB)
Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] * I have told you all this so that you will have peace of heart and mind. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows; but cheer up, for I have overcome the world.”
You must always be conscious of the fact that Jesus is your peace. He is the prince of peace (Isa.9:6) and He has given you His peace. Your peace in every area of your life is guaranteed because Jesus has given unto you the exact type of peace that He has in His own life. Think about that for a moment. The same peace by which Jesus arose in a Stormy boat and calmed the storm (Mark 4:37-39) is what He has given to you. This means that storm may come your way but they will not be able to destroy your peace except you allow them to. Like Jesus, you have the ability to be calm in the midst of every storm and to calm that storm with the peace of God that is in you. The peace that you have is superior to every other kind of peace that exists in the world because it comes from a superior source.

Romans 5:1, says therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. You have peace with God because of Jesus and this peace is what guarantees every other peace in your life. You have this peace because you have been reconciled to God through Christ.
Jesus purchased this peace for you with His own blood, (Isa.53:5). When the Israelites put the blood of the passover lamb on their lintels, the angel of death could not touch them. While there was trouble in all of Egypt, there was peace in the houses of the Israelites. Because of what Jesus has done for you with His blood, you have been redeemed by God and you are now God’s bonafide child. God’s seal of protection is upon you. As a child of God, you are entitled to an inheritance of divine peace and the blessings of God in every area of your life.
Faith Declaration:
Celebrate the abundant peace of God that you have and declare it into every area of your life. Declare that Jesus is your peace.
