YOUR SAFETY IS GUARANTEED IN CHRIST

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runneth into it and is safe”

Proverbs 18:10 KJV

In these days of global insecurity and health scares across the world, let me assure you that as a child of God, you can run into His name and be safe. Yes, you can be safe from all the arrows that fly by day and the pestilence that walks in noonday. The word ‘tower’ in our text means a building higher than its diameter and very high relative to its surroundings. A tower stands tall and can be seen from afar; it’s a symbol of strength and refuge. With the name of the Lord, not only are you protected, but you are also projected to a high level of prominence. As a tower stands taller than every other structure around it, God wants you to stand tall in the face of challenges. This is the position God wants you to operate from.

Beloved, I am not talking about being proud, but being confident that no matter what happens, your safety is guaranteed. More than ever before, you need to take a stand for what you believe. Gone are the days when you sit on the fence with one leg in the world and the other in church. The world is spiraling downwards, and the hearts of men will continue to fail. With the increasing level of terror and global health pandemic, your knowledge of God must transcend head knowledge for you to be secure in Him.

The scripture states clearly that the righteous runs into the tower and finds safety. Jesus is our righteousness. A life without Jesus is a life of crisis. If you have not yet made Him the Lord of your life, this is the time to do so. And if you are reconciled with the Father, now is the time to dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under His shadow. That is the only place where you are protected. I declare that evil will bow before you and the wicked shall bow at your gate.
