YOUR WORDS ARE IMPORTANT

“… Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?” Matthew 16:13-15 (KJV)

Jesus Christ came to His disciples and asked them concerning people’s opinions about Him. He probed further, saying: “But who do you say I am?” In order words, what is your assessment of me? What do you say concerning me?

As a leader, what do you say concerning the organization or ministry that you belong to? How do you see the local assembly where you function as a leader? People may have diverse opinions about the ministry where God has planted you. That is alright! You see, people will say all kinds of things about your organization or local church assembly in the marketplace and the workplace. However, what you say is very strategic and important as a leader.

Therefore, as leaders, in whatever category, we must be intentional and strategic in the way we communicate. Watch your words.

God is looking for instruments He will use to build His church. These instruments must be strategic people. Leaders can’t afford to carry on anyhow. It is too risky to carry on the work of ministry without being mindful of your words. God will use people in these end times who know who they are in Christ. They know they are spirit beings who operate in a timeless zone and can do mighty things. God wants to operate with such people who won’t see limitations.

That is the mentality God wants you to have. Refuse to see obstacles. If Jesus could not be stopped, you will not be stopped. Don’t murmur. Don’t complain when responsibilities are given to you. Learn to take ownership! It is an opportunity to be blessed. And remember that with or without you, the Lord will build His church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it!

If you have questions, you also have the right to ask rather than murmur. Get clarity so you can educate those around you.
