READ: Revelation 21:9-11, 23-27

“For it is impossible for those who… have tasted the good word of God, and THE POWERS OF THE WORLD TO COME, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” – Hebrews 6:4-6

The wonderful scripture we read above, tells us that Christians on earth can actually experience the powers of the world to come. Hebrews 6:4 describes a Christian’s experience of being enlightened, tasting the heavenly gift of salvation, being a partaker of the word of God and a partaker of the powers of the world to come. This scripture gives hope to all of us since we are operating under lingering global curses. Indeed, in this life, you can invoke the powers of the world to come and thereby escape the tragedy of these global curses.

It is a fact that most of us have done things that arouse biblical curses. Most individuals, families and nations have some kind of lingering curse in effect somewhere. In order to deal with all curses in this life, you will have to invoke the powers of the world to come. According to the scripture, if you partake in the Word of God, and in the Holy Spirit, then you are qualified to operate in the powers of the world to come.

The powers of the world to come are the powers that will be used to create the beautiful world that is coming after this era. This world is passing away! The glory of this world will soon be gone. If we trust the Lord, we will reign with Him in the world to come. There will be no more sorrow, pain or curse in the world to come because the powers of the world to come would have wiped out such things. A great power would have wiped out these terrible judgments forever.
