Romans 1:16-17 (GNB) For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, … For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith] …

Ephesians 2:5b … (by grace ye are saved.)

The cure for sin and the freedom from every bondage of the devil is believing in the glorious gospel of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. It is not preaching about sin that saves sinners. It is preaching about the goodness of God, that is, what Jesus has done to save and deliver them from sin and the devil’s bondage, that stares up the faith for them to be saved. God wants you to reveal His love to sinners, John 3:16. Enlarge the revelation that God is no longer holding their sins against them because Jesus has paid and taken their sins away, 2 Cor. 5:19. Help them come to the saving knowledge that because of Jesus, they have been reconciled back to God, Col. 1:21. Assure them that God is not angry with them and that through Christ, God’s grace has been freely made available to redeem and restore them, Rom. 3:23-24. Inform them that all they need to do now is believe and accept this free gift of grace that has been given to them by the death of Christ.

Tell them that they need to run to God to accept this wonderful salvation that has been freely made available to them. The more people are conscious of the grace of God that is available to them in Christ Jesus, the more they will run to God to receive His love and grace and the more they will walk in righteousness, victory and dominion over sin and the devil. If we want people to be conscious of the amazing grace of God that is available for them in Christ Jesus, then we must continue to preach the gospel of Christ and God’s grace to them. This is the gospel we have been called to preach, Acts 20:24.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I receive Your boldness to speak to sinners about Your grace and love shown to us by Christ.
