WHAT TO DO WHEN EVIL KNOCKS ON YOUR DOOR

“And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast
throughout all Judah. And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the LORD:
even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.” 2 Chronicles 20:3-4 KJV

The scriptures are loaded with many insights regarding how to get things done and respond
whenever you are overwhelmed. According to the scriptures, King Jehoshaphat of Judah
woke up one morning and found himself in trouble. A battle was facing him! He never
expected it! Jehoshaphat was in the will of God, yet evil came.

Some believers think that because they are in the will of God, temptation will not come. “I
have been faithful to God; challenges will not come.” Beloved, we live in a real world. That
is why you must never play games with prayers. We live in a world that is inundated and
infested with demonic activities. You must, therefore, be brutal with your faith and let the
enemy know that he will not eat your lunch.

Evil is wicked! It is evil that separates a husband and his wife who had just had a good night,
and in the morning, it is a different story. Evil does not take permission from anyone! It
knocks at the door, breaks it down, and enters. You wake up in the morning and discover that
something you never expected has started happening. And you begin to ask yourself: “How
did it happen”?

So evil knocked at the door of Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah. But I love his response! He ran
to the presence of God in prayers. He deployed the weapon of prayers.
When evil knocks on your door, what do you do? That is the issue! How do you handle it?
Jehoshaphat did the right thing. He took refuge in God. And God gave him a great victory
over the evil against him. May God deliver you from evil! When evil knocks at your door,
may God answer that evil!
