CLAIM GOD’S GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES OVER YOUR YEAR

2Peter 1:4 (NLT), Hebrews 8:6 (NLT)

“And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.”…Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.”

You shall experience abundant manifestations of the great and precious promises of God to you this year. This is another reason why you will have a great and wonderful year.

By your faith in Christ, you are now a partaker of all the promises God made to His people in the Bible. In Ephesians 2:12 (GNB), Apostle Paul described it as, “The covenants based on God’s promises to His people.” You are now a bonafide member of God’s family and the promises of God are part of your glorious inheritance.

Every promise God has made to you is backed up by an oath/covenant just as He did to Abraham, (Heb. 6:13-20). For us, this oath/covenant was signed by the blood of Jesus. The Cross of Jesus is the sign/assurance that all of God’s promises concerning your life have been fulfilled. This is why the Bible says, “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God,” (2Cor. 1:20, NIV). Like Abraham, God is already calling and describing you based on the fulfillment of His promises in your life. Live your life and make your plans this year with the consciousness and assurance of the manifestation of the promises of God.

Thank God for His great and precious promises to you and declare some of them over your life right now.
