DON’T LOSE YOUR JOY AND THANKSGIVING

HABAKKUK 3:17-19 (GNB)

Even though the fig trees have no fruit and no grapes grow on the vines, even though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no grain, even though the sheep all die and the cattle stalls are empty, I will still be joyful and glad, because the LORD God is my savior. The Sovereign LORD gives me strength. He makes me sure-footed as a deer and keeps me safe on the mountains.

Your strength is in your joy. The joy of the Lord is your strength, (Neh. 8:10). The devil knows this and that’s why He will try everything possible to steal your joy. He will try to paint pictures and scenarios, and make you see things in such a way that you will be disheartened and tempted to lose your joy and give up. But that devil is a liar. You will not lose your joy. The joy you have is a supernatural one. It is not based on your situations, or circumstances, or any kind of report.

Jesus never lost His joy. It was the joy of what was set before Him that made Him endure the cross and despise the shame, (Heb. 12:2). As you remain joyful and thankful to God, His supernatural strength will feel your life. Just like the hinds’ feet of a deer, by this strength, you will be able to climb mountains. You’ll go through and overcome those challenges before you. As you ask God for His wisdom or any other thing you need in that situation, He will grant it to you abundantly, (James 1:5). The wisdom of God will fill you with strength. Beloved, the wisdom and grace of God to guard your joy in all situations and circumstances is upon you today. No matter what is going on, you will count it all joy (James 1:2-3). You will remain conscious of God’s great love for you, God’s mighty presence and promises to you, God’s mighty resurrection power at work in your life, and God’s will and plan for you.

PRAYER FOCUS:
REJOICE AND THANK GOD FOR HIS GRACE AND GOODNESS IN YOUR LIFE. THANK HIM FOR HIS LOVE, PRESENCE, PROMISES, POWER AND WILL.
