Daily Devotional: 10th May “HOMOSEXUALITY”

READ: Romans 1:18-24

Thou shalt not lie with mankind,as with womankind: it is abomination. – Leviticus 18:22

The devil has been a thief and a destroyer from the beginning of time. He sets out to destroy the creation of the Lord. The testimony of the madman of Gadara shows us that when Satan gains ultimate control of a human being, he leads him to do unnatural things. “…and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs” (Luke 8:27).

Things against nature and things against God’s design are often demonic in origin. It is not natural for anyone to live in the tombs of dead men. It is against human nature to even go near the dead.
Homosexuality is a good example of an unnatural phenomenon. Homosexuality is against God’s design. God created Adam and Eve (and not Adam and Steve). In spite of the numerous arguments of gay activists, we cannot find any of the animals created by the Lord to be homosexual in nature. I have never heard of homosexual dogs, cats, frogs, or horses.

Homosexuality is an unnatural act and it is one of the unfortunate outcomes of demonic activity. Of course, we do not condemn homosexuals. They are created by God and Christ died for all of us. Those of us who are not homosexuals may have even worse perversions in our lives for which we need the grace of God.

Today there are web sites for people who would like to have sex with animals like dogs, snakes, horses etc. There are women who have specially trained dogs to have sex with them. These are all unfortunate and unnatural perversions. The origin of this dehumanizing behaviour is demonic.
