TOPIC: Exercising Dominion By Humility (Seeds Of Destiny 10 March 2025)
SCRIPTURE: But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. – Matthew 20:25-28
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To access and exercise dominion, you must follow the path of servanthood and humility.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2025 MESSAGE:
It has been established that we were created to function in dominion. God created us to have dominion on earth. The full essence of humanity is to rule, reign, and have authority over all circumstances on the earth. One way to access dominion is by humility. Dominion is accessed and exercised through the maintenance of the spirit of servanthood. We experience dominion in life by exercising humility.
In Matthew 20:25-28, Jesus teaches us the key to dominion: But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
To access and exercise dominion, you must follow the path of servanthood and humility. If you show me a person with proven humility, I will show you someone who will function in dominion.
Take Joseph for example, he was made an overseer among the prisoners and entrusted with authority because he served other prisoners faithfully. Joseph provided care and guidance to the other prisoners, and through those acts of service, he stepped into leadership. The act of leadership is learned in the school of servanthood. Joseph’s humility propelled him into his place of authority and leadership.
Many children of God struggle to exercise their God-given dominion because of pride. Pride robs a person of their dominion mandate.
Beloved, like Joseph, humble yourself and serve your generation, so you can access and exercise dominion in earth.
Remember this: To access and exercise dominion, you must follow the path of servanthood and humility.
ASSIGNMENT:
- Refuse to let pride and arrogance limit your life, and rob you of your dominion mandate.
- Humble yourself and serve your generation, so you can both access and exercise dominion on earth.
PRAYER: Father, I ask that You deliver me from the lifestyle of pride and arrogance. Clothe me with the garment of humility so I can access and exercise dominion on earth, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
