Sunday School Hymn

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
O how I love Thee well,
I am happy, it makes me glad
To rejoice at Thy birth.

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
Thy friendship suits me well,
Both young and old will sing Thy song,
We long for Sunday School.

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
Christ was Thy first teacher,
The Holy Spirit, great teacher,
Does manifest in thee.

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
This testimony is sure,
That God, the Father Almighty,
Poured His blessing on Thee.

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day,
Though the sun be so bright,
Or if the clouds be black with rain,
I’ll be in Sunday School.

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s day
I rejoice to see Thee,
Will thou pass over me today?
Without my being blest?

Memory Verse:
“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” – 2 Timothy 4:2 (NKJV)

Bible Passage: Romans 10:13-15
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Introduction
Evangelism, or witnessing, is a calling for every believer (2 Corinthians 5:17-18). It involves preaching the gospel to share Jesus Christ’s message and teachings. “Evangelism on-the-go” means being proactive, innovative, and active in spreading the gospel. Using various channels to reach the lost with the message of salvation is crucial. Preaching the gospel is a serious task assigned by The Master and should be done consistently and conscientiously by all believers.

Lesson Outlines

The Father’s Business

The importance of preaching the gospel to the lost is highlighted by Jesus, who was anointed by His Father for this purpose (Luke 4:18). He emphasized that preaching the kingdom of God was His mission (Luke 4:43). God’s concern for the lost is evident as it is not His will for any to perish (Matthew 18:14). Jesus came to save the lost (Matthew 18:11), and the parable of the lost sheep shows the value of a single soul (Matthew 18:12). Apostle Paul also stressed the importance of preaching, stating that a curse would be upon him if he failed to do so (1 Corinthians 9:16). He declared his mission to preach the gospel (1 Corinthians 1:17a), and there is rejoicing in Heaven when a soul repents (Luke 15:7).

Our Business Too

Jesus commanded His followers to preach the gospel (Mark 16:15). This kingdom business requires zeal and divine wisdom (John 4:34; Ecclesiastes 10:10) and is a continuous task (Luke 9:60). Witnessing Jesus should be done persistently, without giving up (Acts 5:42). Like a good businessman, one must be strategic, creative, and seize every opportunity to speak about Jesus (Acts 26:27-29; 1 Corinthians 9:19-23). Evangelism should be sacrificial, even when inconvenient (2 Timothy 4:2). The goal is to make Jesus known and win souls (1 Corinthians 2:2; Romans 1:14-15). Living a life that reflects Jesus is essential (Galatians 2:20; 1 Corinthians 11:1), and this business should flourish as we continue to witness Christ (Acts 8:5-6; Daniel 12:3). Evangelism should transcend generations (2 Timothy 1:5; 2:2), and intensive prayer is crucial for its success. Jesus is the trademark of this business (Colossians 1:27-28), and time is of the essence; we should not delay preaching to the lost (John 4:35).

Conclusion

Evangelism is a vital kingdom business. Be actively involved.
