A Diagnostic Tool

“…then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

Matthew 6:6

When you pray, or when you give, if you want everybody to know about it – hide it! If you don’t want anybody to know it, then chances are your motivation is right and you can share it to encourage others. See the difference? 

What we do to be seen by men reveals our reputation. What we do for God, and to please Him alone, reveals our character. Get your character and your reputation in alignment, and you are becoming a true Jesus follower. In the light, and in the dark, you are the same person, and God will reward that with more responsibility, more satisfaction, and a greater sense of purpose.
