CHRIST’S VICTORY IS YOUR ARMOUR

Ephesians 6:10-11 (AMPC), Romans 8:37 (AMPC)

In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him […]. Put on God’s whole armor […], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. *Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

The root of every problem in the world today is the fall of man caused by Adam’s disobedience to God and the victory over every problem in the world today has been provided by the obedience of Jesus to suffer and die for us on the Cross, (Rom.5:17). When Jesus declared on the Cross – “it is finished”, He was declaring that the price for our sins had been fully paid and that just like it happened to the veil in the temple, every hindrance to our being all that God wants us to be had been taken out of the way, (Matt.27:50-51). We now have full access to absolute freedom and victory in every area of our lives.

No matter what comes your way, be of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world for you and you will overcome also. By your faith in Christ, you have already overcome. In every battle you have to fight now, you are not to try to win because Jesus has already won for you. Your fight now is to stand in the victory Christ has won for you. You are not trying to conquer; you are more than conquerors because Jesus has conquered for you. Jesus has destroyed the devil’s power over you, (Heb.2:14) and stripped all principalities and powers of all the powers they had over you, (Col.2:15). Now, He wants you to stand in His victory. His victory is your armour and the guarantee of your victory.

Faith Declaration:
Christ won the victory for me. His victory is my armour. I am victorious because I stand in Christ’s victory for me.
