EMPOWERED TO MAKE GREAT IMPACT LIKE JESUS

John 14:12, John 20:21, Colossians 3:17a (TPT)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. *Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. *Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.

Jesus has sent us to go and make impact in the world just as God the Father sent Him and there are so many powerful lessons from the life of Jesus that we can apply to lead and make great impact as He did.

Jesus knew His mission and He knew that He was filled with the Holy Spirit to accomplish it, (Luke 4:16-21). He came to seek and save the lost, (Luke 19:10). Jesus was a humble, selfless and exemplary leader. He did not come to be served. Rather, He came to give His life as a ransom for many, (Mark 10:45). Jesus gave Himself a lot to prayer, (Mark 1:35, Luke 5:15-16). Throughout His mission on earth, He had a very deep and close fellowship with God the Father. He only did what He saw the Father do. Jesus prayed a lot for His disciples, including you and me, (Luke 22:31, John 17:20). Jesus prayed fervently before making major decisions, (Luke 6:12-13).

Jesus knew the importance of working well with others. He was not a lone ranger. He had disciples and worked efficiently with them to increase His impact, (John 4:1-2, John 6:10-12). He loved His disciples to the end, (John 13:1). Jesus had real love and compassion for people, (Matt.14:14, Mark 6:34). Jesus was never idle. He was always very active and busy in His assignment, (Acts 10:38).

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for filling me with your Spirit and empowering me to lead and make great impact just like Jesus did.
