“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, be not afraid, only believe.”
Mark 5:36 KJV
Jesus is always coming to you and will never turn His back on you. He does not consider how bad the situation is. It can never be over where grace is present. And I want to assure you today that grace is present. The Bible describes God as the very present help at every time of need. He is our refuge and our fortress. ‘A very present help’ means that in every situation, He is right there. He does not come and go! He is always there. His name is Jehovah Shammah; God is there for us always!
According to Mark 5:35, the Bible says professional mourners were already at the house of Jairus to give him evil report. These are people who specialize in always painting a bad picture about your situation. They are often close relatives and loved ones and they come with good intentions, but they merely worsen the situation. They often come with worthless and unhelpful advice. Grace was on a journey to the place of death and grace cannot be denied. People from the house of the law came and they met grace. They said to grace: It is over! But watch what grace says in the midst of contradictory evidence: “Be not afraid, only believe” In other words, whatever that picture is; fear not.
Beloved, doctors are human beings, they are not God. The person that made you is Jehovah Elohim. He is the Creator. And He knows how to create anything. Fear not, I only need one thing from you, believe. Everyone that believed in the Bible never went without. Check from Genesis to Revelation.
All that the worst sinner needs to do is to believe that Jesus died for him. He did not tell you to confess all your sins. He said ‘Just believe that I died for you and all those sins will be wiped out.’ That is the mystery of the new creation!
