LIVING WITH THE HOPE OF GLORY

Romans 5:2 (TPT), Colossians 1:27 (CEV)

Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory! *God … wanted you …to understand his wonderful and glorious mystery. And the mystery is that Christ lives in you, and he is your hope of sharing in God’s glory.

As a believer in Christ, your life is always supposed to be filled with hope. We have been born into a life of living hope (1Pet.1:3). We have hope both in this life and in the life to come (1Cor.15:19). The hope we have is the hope of glory and our hope is based on the love of God, the promises of God and the resurrection power of God. Anything is possible in our lives and what God says about us will surely come to pass. This is why we should always have hope and always expect the manifestation of the glory of God in our lives.

The glory of God is always sure and guaranteed in our lives but when we are not conscious of this, we allow our trials, our challenges or what people do to us to weigh us down.

Another major thing that fills our hearts with the hope of the glory of God is the life of Christ that is in us. The more conscious we are of the life and glory of Christ that is in us, the more our lives will be filled with hope. We will expect the same things that Christ would expect because we are one with Him. This is why Apostle Paul prayed for Christ to dwell in the hearts of believers by faith (Eph.3:17) and he laboured in deliberate teaching for Christ to be formed in believers (Gal.4:19). As the revelation of Christ fills us, our lives are filled with the hope of glory.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please fill my heart with the hope of glory and help me to keep filling myself with the revelation of Christ.
