STAND STRONG IN THE LORD

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Ephesians 6:10 KJV

God wants you to stand strong always, irrespective of what is up against you because He has you covered. One of the things that will help you to stand strong is to pray without ceasing always. Keep praying, not just in your understanding, but also in the Spirit because the Spirit knows the mind of God. He knows exactly how to pray appropriately so God will answer. Praying in the Spirit also builds you up.

Another way to stand strong is to keep on giving.  We don’t just give to receive; we give because we love God. Anytime an opportunity comes for you to give, don’t say, “I gave yesterday or I gave two days ago,” just give. In fact, giving should be your life style. Give to the church, the poor and helpless; keep on scattering your seeds. Ecclesiastes 11:6 tells us that you don’t know which of them will grow. Your seeds will always produce and when others are lacking, then you will say there is a lifting up!

Another thing you must do to stand strong is to keep on praising God. Make praise your life style. Buy audio and video materials that will help promote your praise life. You don’t just praise by singing, you praise by dancing too. When praises go up, blessings will surely come down. The Scripture says that God lives in the midst of the praises of His people. Don’t buy music that has content that you don’t understand; buy music that will edify, strengthen, inspire and encourage you in the Lord.  Get good messages in any of the format convenient for you. Listen to them in your house, your car and office so that your faith can be strengthened.
