TOPIC: The Secret Enemy (6

BIBLE READINGActs 11 -15

TEXT:“I am one of them that are peaceable and faithful in Israel: thou seekest to destroy a city and a mother in Israel: why wilt thou swallow up the ice of the Lord?” 2Sam.20 :19.

Welcome to your Rhema for Living this great day. Today, we shall look at the inheritance that the secret enemies are after. The first inheritance is your Opportunity. The hidden enemies are against your opportunity. If you study Numbers 16 :1 – 3; certain men named Korah, Dathan and Abiram gathered other men to themselves and they came to Moses telling him that he is not the only one that is holy, that why would he be above them?

These men were not ordinary men. The bible called them certain men of renowned. In the modern day church, these men would be pastors like him. They would be part of the ministerial cadre. They felt they could also do what Moses was doing so they challenged him. There is so much jealousy and envy in the church. People keep malice with one another because of jealousy.

Rather than envying people who are opportuned or have achieved one success or the other, celebrate them. Don’t be envious, it is a sinker.

When God visits your neighbour, it is a sign that God is in your neighbourhood. Don’t allow the devil recruit you as a secret enemy. You must understand that the fact that somebody is in front of you does not mean the person is more qualified or more suitable than you, but it is his turn.

When those men challenged Moses, they never knew that it was not that Moses prayed or fasted more, but it was opportunity that he had. If they had known, they would have directed their efforts to praying to God who gives opportunity, to give them theirs because “time and chance happeneth to them all.” ECCL.9 :1l .

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, every secret enemy after my opportunity, be frustrated.
