DON’T MINIMIZE THE GRACE OF GOD

“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. (1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV)

Somebody said it was by his efforts that he went to school. Another person said she was able to get married because she is beautiful. Somebody else said it was because she married as a virgin, that she could bear children. Somebody said he can enjoy life well because he was born into a wealthy family. Another one said, I have first class and I am the best in my office, that is why I was promoted. But sooner or later, you will find out that it is not by might nor by power, but by the grace of God alone.

If you look around, you will see all those who seemingly have it all together, and yet, nothing is working. It is the grace of God that puts you where you are. It is the grace of God that puts money in your pocket. It is the God’s grace that has made you not to be in the hospital today. It is by His grace that you travelled and returned home safely. Don’t be braggadocios about anything. If we can only understand this truth, it will make a lot of difference in our lives.

At times, God will say, let’s take a trip to the Potters House so that you can see. At times, God will take you to the valley of dry bones, since you are arrogant, and you think that you are the real McCoy. If God doesn’t give breath and sinews to them, can they live? Of course not. It is only by the grace of God.

Don’t ever minimize the grace of God upon your life. It is not about you. It is about what He did. It is about what He completed for you. That is why the Christian life begins from done and not from doing. It is already done.

DAILY CONFESSION

My God enlarges the steps under me so that my feet will not slip I have pursued mine enemies and overtaken them. I refused to turn till they are all consumed. The Lord will hear me in the day of trouble. The God of Jacob will defend me. He will send me help from His Sanctuary and strengthen me from Zion. He will remember all my offerings. (Psalm 18:36-37, Psalm 20:1-3)

There is no lack, for my God supplies all of my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus The Lord has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant and Abraham’s blessings are mine. Some trust in chariots and horses but I will remember the name of the Lord God. They are brought down and fallen but I am risen and stand upright. (Philippians 4:19, Psalms 35:27; Galatians 3:14, Psalm 20:7-8)

Every day and in every way I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavours.

I am called for a purpose; I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom. Therefore, I declare that I am a person of integrity, I am spiritually fervent, I am accountable in all I do because I’ve been raised to live the Kingdom Life here on earth.

It is my day of Rest
