DIVINE ORCHESTRATIONS (1)

2Kings 7:3-5 (NIV) …there were four men with leprosy… They said to each other, “Why stay here until we die? If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.” At dusk they … went to the camp of the Arameans. When they reached the edge of the camp, no one was there,

The four lepers made their move out of desperation, but unknown to them, God was going to use that move they were making to bring abundance into the land of Samaria. Everything was happening in line with God’s word that had just been declared by Elisha, (2 Kings 7:1). When they got to the camp of the Syrians, the entire army had fled, leaving all their food, ammunition, and wealth behind. God had made the Syrian army hear what sounded like the military horses and chariots of three different nations coming against them. There will be times when God will lead you (or others) to do certain things, and you (or they) may not be sure of what the outcome will be. God will divinely orchestrate things and the outcome will be much better than you could have imagined. It will be in line with His word and promises to you.

Moses was three months old and his mother could not hide him anymore. She made a basket and put him on the river with his sister watching what would happen to him. God made Pharaoh’s daughter come to the river to take her bath at that same time. God guided Moses’ basket to a place where Pharaoh’s daughter could see him, fetch him, and eventually employ Moses’ mother to take care of him, (Exo. 2:1-10). God is divinely ordering your steps (Psa. 37:23, Isa. 30:21) and He is making things work out together for your good in unbelievable ways.

Prayer:

Father, I thank you that you are ordering my steps and you are making things work out together for my good in amazing ways.
